Inspiration
This was from a day I spent on Loch Ba with my brother and friends. We paddled out to an island on the loch in his Canadian canoe and made a campfire, having a laugh and enjoying being surrounded by water and big skies. He is pushing off to go and get a friend from the loch side.

Process
Reduction prints are made by repeatedly carving into a linoleum block and then printing a colour. Usually colour printing goes from lighter colours to a final darker colour. Lino is removed each time until eventually the block is completely gone or the print is complete. Because the lino block is progressively carved away, no more prints can be made.
If it is a one colour block this can be an open edition i.e. many prints can be made. If it is a numbered edition that is the number of prints that will ever exist, no more can be made.
