Our Story
The day was New Years Day, the year was 2025 when two friends set a challenge for the coming year.
We decided we would visit an exhibition a month throughout the year and not just visit but produce an art piece as a response to the day.
It could be inspired by anything from the art in the exhibition to the building to the weather. It didn't matter, whatever the feelings, they were the inspiration for the piece.
The travels included:
- Turner Contemporary in Margate to take in the Anya Gallacio
- The Andy Goldsworthy exhibition Scottish National Gallery
- The Grayson Perry show at The Wallace Collection.
At the visit following we would do a 'reveal' of the artworks, usually in the pub, then toast our efforts to get out there and do!
This is what inspired us to start Azitz Art Studio.

Vibe
We are about ideas, colour and authenticity, a shared approach rather than a particular medium. Most works are created as one offs or limited editions, and all are signed and numbered by the artist.
We believe original art shouldn't be a luxury but a part of everyday life.
